Reminder times and schedules
Daily, specific days, every few days or as needed, and how peaflow reads times from the label.
Every medication has a schedule. It decides when reminders go off and what shows on Today.
Schedules
- Daily: every day at one or more times.
- Specific days: for example weekdays only.
- Every few days: for example every 3 days.
- As needed: no reminders. It’s listed under As needed on Today, so you can note when it was taken.
How peaflow proposes times
When you scan a label or type directions, peaflow reads times from them:
- “Once daily in the morning”: 8 AM
- “Twice daily”: 8 AM and 8 PM
- “At bedtime”: in the evening
- “With breakfast and dinner”: at those meals
These are only suggestions. Change them to fit the person’s day before saving.
Change a schedule
Open the medication from Meds, tap Edit, and change How often or the Reminder times. Upcoming reminders update straight away on every phone.
Time zones
Reminders follow the time zone of the person you care for, not yours. If you’re in a different zone, Today says (their time). See Times look wrong.
