What is peaflow?

Medication reminders for families caring for an aging parent, and for anyone tracking their own medicines.

peaflow helps you know Mom took her pills, without calling to check. You scan her pill bottles, peaflow turns the directions into a schedule, and everyone who helps sees each dose the moment it’s marked taken.

What peaflow does

  • Reads the label for you. Point the camera at a pharmacy label and peaflow fills in the name, strength and directions, and proposes reminder times. The label is read on your iPhone; photos aren’t uploaded.
  • Reminds the right phone. Reminders can go to you, to your parent’s own phone, or to both, even when peaflow is closed.
  • Keeps the family in the loop. Brothers, sisters or a neighbor can join, see today’s doses, and get one alert if a dose is missed.
  • Gives your parent one big button. On their own phone, peaflow shows just what’s due now and a large “I took it” button.
  • Brings the right page to the doctor. A one-page PDF lists every current medication, how it’s taken, the prescriber and the last 30 days.

You can also use peaflow for your own medicines. See Track your own medicines.

What peaflow doesn’t do

peaflow is an organizing and reminder tool, not a medical device. It never calculates or recommends a dose, and it doesn’t interpret readings like blood pressure. Every screen with medication information says to confirm it with a pharmacist or doctor.

Where it works

peaflow runs on iPhone and iPad, with an Apple Watch app, Siri, widgets and a Live Activity on your parent’s phone. It’s available in English, Spanish, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Vietnamese, Filipino, Korean, Arabic, Russian, French and Portuguese.

Free or Plus

Most of peaflow is free: two medications, reminders on both phones, the dose log and the doctor PDF. peaflow Plus adds unlimited medications and family, missed-dose alerts, the health log, 30-day history and refill reminders. See Free and Plus: what’s included.
